NSSA Mission Statement

As an entity of the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith Assn., Inc., The National Sunday School Association, Inc. (NSSA) endeavors to assist and lead people to Christ according to the Apostles’ Doctrine; to train, nurture, and prepare people of all ages for present and future kingdom services.

Training Ministries and Programs Offered By The NSSA
NSSA Teachers’ Training & Certification Program: a. Standard Course: 1)-Old Testament Survey Book I; 2)-Old Testament Survey Book II; 3)-New Testament Survey; 4)-Understanding People; b. 5)-Teaching Techniques; & 6)-Sunday School Ministry c. Advanced Course: 1)-World Missions Today; 2)-Your Ministry of Evangelism; 3)-Biblical Beliefs; 4)- Biblical Leadership-replaced book; d. 5)-Growing Toward Spiritual Maturity; & 6)-You and Your Bible e. ETA Certificates are issued upon completion of course f. National Convention Graduation Ceremony, complete with cap & gowns g. Six Credit hours from MABC* upon completion of both courses h. Registration $75.00 i. Books $17.00 each; Six (6) books per course (purchase books thru NSSA) j. Standard ETA course available on the website (contact any NSSA-TEAM member for instructions) Scholarship Program: a. Students must acquire and complete an application and mail to designated person on or before July 15 b. Students must meet all requirements c. Students must wait 1-year before applying for a second scholarship Funding the Scholarship Program: a. Five (25) cents per member, per Sunday, regardless of age b. Contributions: Mail-in tax-deductible checks or money orders, (see instructions on website, or contact Council S.S. Representative) The NSSA Materials Assistance Program: a. For start-up schools experiencing financial hardship (schools must be registered with the National PCAF Headquarters) The NSSA-TEAM: National Sunday School Association - Training & Equipping Across the Mainland This Team is comprised of the NSSA Officers and the Board of Directors, who will work together in a concerted effort to assist in the training and equipping of Sunday School workers in all our Councils across the country The NSSA Day in National Meetings a.
